Why do non-Christians (Satanists) apply science to the Bible?

Well, science trumped religion in the matter of the earth revolving around the sun. Galileo was forced to recant his position to fit with Christian dogma, but he was still right all along. The scriptures were wrong all along. I think that proves that science is above the Bible.
