Do you think that we are living in a "a -driven, 'look-at-me' culture"?

I was watching television a couple of nights ago, and I came to the conclusion that it's a mans world. Every advert was a dating advert, channel advert or "text and flirt" Then big brother came on and there were 11 girls strutting their stuff around the house in their underware. Every other advert on that night was advertising "leg wax", "beauty cream", "slim fast" or "make-up adverts". If it wasnt for men, it was somehow related to looking good for men. I'm not one of those people who can't stand it, I'm just trying to make a point. It's all down to . It's mad. When I was a kid (and I'm only 24, tele didnt show things like that. Only programmes dedicated to it or films and they werent on until gone midnight when I was in bed. I agree, we're a nation of adicts. xxx
