Toddler reverting back to baby stages?

Maybe backpedal a bit on the baby information. Do lots of fun stuff with her (you could ask her what she'd like to do for one whole day) and don't mention the baby at all. She's obviously a very smart cookie, so she's aware that a new baby will mean less attention for her. If the special time for her works, you could consider building it into the routine once the new baby has arrived. As for the big sister bit, again, don't overdo it; she seems to be rejecting that role for now. When my second son was born, we kept him out of reach (literally) of the 18 month old for weeks.and allowed the big brother to get used to seeing him round little by little. We also gave him a present 'from the baby', which kept him busy in the maternity ward!
