Why does America not follow the constitution?

Because of all the corruption in politics these days in Washington DC! There was just a rally in Washington DC this past Saturday that was meant to make people aware that OUR country needs to return to God and the Constitution. There were over a half a million people there and millions more that couldn't make the trip that feel the same way! Right now we have a president in office that doesn't feel the need to follow any rules except for the ones he makes! Just like in Chicago! He has done just the opposite of every campaign promise he made in 2007 and 2008, and kept none of them. Actual unemployment is about 20%. The stimulus plan didn't work, housing is down, retail sales are down, companies are downsizing, but Obama feels we are on the right track for recovery! Who's recovery is he talking about?
